Persons can report a crime to the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service through any of the following:

  • Call 999
  • Download the TTPS “See Something, Say Something” App and make a report there
  • Submit a report online, on the TTPS website
  • Visit any police station in Trinidad and Tobago

Citizens of Trinidad and Tobago who have been convicted of an offence and wish to apply for a Presidential Pardon under Section 87 of the Constitution of Trinidad and Tobago, can visit the Presidential Pardon webpage for information on how to make an application.

In order to request a lift on a Deportation Order, the person will be required to write a formal letter of request. Only when the order is lifted can the person re-enter Trinidad and Tobago, in the future. The applicant will need to submit a hard-copy, signed, detailed letter explaining the situation that caused the deportation (reason, dates of detention, departure, current contact details, etc.). If a person belongs to a country whose nationals require a visa to enter Trinidad and Tobago, that individual must apply for a visa either at the Trinidad and Tobago Consular post in the country where he/she lives or the nearest Consular post. This service is applicable to any non-national of Trinidad and Tobago who is seeking employment in Trinidad and Tobago, whether for gain or not, and is desirous of obtaining a work permit. Click here for information on the application process. The Work Permit Section is responsible for the processing of all Work Permits/Work Permit Exemptions and Minister’s Permits for non-nationals. Foreign nationals who wish to extend their stay in Trinidad and Tobago must make an application with the Trinidad and Tobago Immigration Division via the email addresses:

Applicants must provide, via email, their full name, current residential address, telephone number, a copy of the bio data page of their passport and a copy of their last entry or extension certificate (if applicable).

For information on how to apply for a Certificate of Character visit the Trinidad and Tobago Police (TTPS) website. Certificate of Character applications should be made online on the TTPS website only by completing and submitting the Certificate of Character Request Form.
